รัฐบาลสหรัฐอเมริกาเชิญ เทศบาลนครนครศรีธรรมราช นำโดย ดร.กณพ เกตุชาติ นายกเทศมนตรีนครนครศรีธรรมราช เข้าร่วมเครือข่าย เมืองฉลาดน่าอยู่ ของประเทศอาเซียนและประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ตามโครงการ US-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership เพื่อเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์งานพัฒนาเมือง ณ เมืองซานฟรานซิสโก ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ตั้งแต่วันที่ 24-28 เมษายน 2566 เทศบาลนครนครศรีธรรมราชมีผลงานเด่นคือ แอพพลิเคชั่นร้องทุกข์ออนไลน์ และ ห้องเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์โลกเสมือนของโรงเรียนในสังกัดเทศบาลนครนครศรีธรรมราช

The United States government has cordially extended an invitation to
Nakhon Si Thammarat City Municipality, led by Dr. Kanop Ketchart, the Mayor of Nakhon Si Thammarat, to join the ASEAN countries and the United States of America's network of smart cities. This is part of the "US-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership" which aims to foster connections and facilitate the exchange of experiences in urban development. The event will take place in San Francisco, United States, from April 24-28, 2023. Nakhon Si Thammarat City Municipality has been selected to participate in this event due to its outstanding achievements such as "Smart City E-Service "and Metaverse Classrooms for schools under the municipality's jurisdiction.
